This is a final outcome that was created by powdering and crushing bones in to a mixture of fine dust and large bone fragments. I then attempted to almost sieve the mixture that I had turned in to a liquid through this embroidery hoop, I chose the fabric because I thought it was fine enough to let the mixture pass through, but also trap the remnants of what couldn't pass through afterwards. It was a way of me trying to visually represent a method of grasping something that was impossible. Considering the greater sense of death. I really like the stain that was left as a reminder of an act that had happened or the life that had gone in to the act of creating it. I really like how the smaller pieces and fragments have been almost embedded into the fabric and fibres. A reminder of a life that once was.
